Our Mission Statement Musical Cheers is a music agency and relationship manager helping audiences find artists, and artists find audiences. Our extensive web-network and presence allows access to a virtually instantaneous global community. Musical Cheers Directors Artistic Director - Eve Christie Eve has a Bachelor of Music from The University of Auckland, New Zealand and a Graduate Diploma in Vocal Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Australia. She now lives in London, UK, and works as a professional opera singer. As well as being an experienced performer she is an accomplished instrumentalist and music teacher. Eve has extensive marketing experience from her business and artistic endeavours - including concerts, workshops and other fundraising activities - in which she has been involved. She also has a great deal of managerial and training experience both in the arts and in the wider business arena. You can read more about Eve's Artistic and Teaching background here. Business Development Director - Michelle Hackney In 1993, Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Music from The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Following that she worked in marketing, and alumni and student development for the sought-after Business School at that University. In 1996, Michelle moved to London, UK, where she is involved in the events industry as a producer of business conferences. Michelle has wide-ranging experience in business and has skills spanning marketing, desk-top publishing, copy-writing, product development and office and staff management. This skill-set is further enhanced by Michelle's many years of concert and event coordination for choirs and singers. Technical Director (IT and Telecoms) - Nick McDougall Nick has a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia and is an experienced engineer with considerable commercial experience. He has worked primarily as a project manager and has a wealth of knowledge of financial modelling and control and determining the feasibility of new businesses. Nick also now lives in London, UK, where he works as a systems administration consultant. He manages both small and large scale projects, has wide experience of internet and personal computer based technologies, and successfully manages third party suppliers to deliver client's results.
